...I think you're taking it out of context. They mean that the PS4's simpler and unified architecture allow developers to greater express their creative visions in developing games. The comparison to 'sci-fi' is just used to better relate the sort of graphics/production value associated with that idea.
I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy experience previewing the game, but your article comes off as more than a little biased and misinformed. Your criticism of the handling shows you've no experience of simulation racers let alone driving real racing machines.
"Actually attempting any hard-brake turns or drifting of some kind led to an absurd amount of skidding and sliding around hopelessly..." Because a 700+ Pagani would certainly hold your hand around a c...
you probably can, but you'll have to camp for it.
11/30 is just a placeholder.
That's a pretty stupid policy
Too human was trash...
Max Payne 3's shooting mechanics were excellent...why wouldn't they continue to refine it for use in GTA5?
Hold on, so they axed the DLC from SR3 to put it in SR4, but it is now going to be a DLC for SR4? Why not just include it in the retail release?
If they bring us another entry, I really hope they bring back all the characters from 4 that weren't in 5.
I'm wondering what is the kind of progression in this game? Do we have to buy cars, is there a career mode?
Theres no question that iRacing offers a better simulation experience, but for most people, it's difficult to really get into. I subscribed to their membership a few years back, but at $100 I didn't really devote myself enough to justify the purchase.
Most of my time and resources went towards actually tracking my RX8 and WRX, and like most people here who enjoy Gran Turismo, we like playing other games as well. However, while it's hard to get into iRacing, if yo...
thanks pal I'll probably miss out on GT:Academy (again) this year since prelims end this week? but I'll definitely have time to hit the track when GT6 rolls around this December
Man I wish I had more time to go back to GT5. I'm away from home so often because of business and its been over a year since I've had time to truly sit down and spend time with it. My G27 is getting more than just dusty, it's probably starting to rust lol
I still haven't picked up the Last of us yet :/ but its only because I've been traveling these past two months on business. Soon as I get back home I have to get this game.
On a side note, Max Payne 3 at #7. Interesting to see it on the list; one of my favorite games from last year and in my opinion, unfortunately didn't receive the attention it deserved
I wonder if we'll ever see a Soul Calibur 6? :/
I hope to see more 3D fighters next year! TTT2 showing was great but they only had SCV has a side-tourney. How about some DOA5:U and VF5:FS next EVO?
Im actually not into 2d fighters too much; I'm more partial to the 3d fighters like Tekken and Virtua Fighter. But this new KI has got me seriously impressed and I can't wait to try it out
are you driving with a wheel?
I don't think nextgen console preorders are in the millions... More like a few hundred thousands
With next-gen comes higher-quality in game assets. Higher texture resolutions for objects, more complex a.i programming, more dynamic environments... I don't know how big SF will be, and maybe that data isn't compressed, but this could just be the start for downloadable games requiring this much space
